Lessons from a snowflake

As I drove through the snow to the hospital I was in awe of the snowflakes on the windscreen. Looking the same yet all different.

My mind went to them being the most fragile of things but then my thoughts went to the snow I had shovelled to get the car out and collectively what they can do when they stick together and that reminded me of us as humans – when we pull together a lot can be done.

We are like snowflakes… all different in our own beautiful way. So keep your cool, take time to chill, always sparkle, take  time for you or time with your tribe and always celebrate your uniqueness every day. Out of all the people in the world you are unique – there is only one you.  We are all made up of different personalities and talents and thank God for these.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
