"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."
Deuteronomy 6:6,7

Try choosing a quiet time, perhaps before bed to read a Bible story to your children. When you are finished, or perhaps the next day, remember the story by getting some paper and crayons or pencils and drawing something from the story together while you discuss it. Or get some playdough out and model something from the story. Perhaps put the memory verse on the fridge for a week to remind you of the story and the lessons it contained.
